This range represents the optimal operating temperature for dedicated screw lubricants, ensuring both viscosity and lubrication performance while maintaining efficient operation of the oil-gas separation system.
When temperatures drop below 80°C, moisture in compressed air cannot evaporate sufficiently, which readily combines with lubricating oil to form sludge. This clogs oil filters and oil separators, accelerating component corrosion.
When temperatures exceed 100°C, lubricating oil undergoes accelerated oxidative cracking, forming carbon deposits and carbon residue. This shortens the service life of oil-filled cores and bearings, and may trigger high-temperature shutdown protection in severe cases.
