As an air compressor brand with over 20 years of experience in the industry, ZAKF has prepared a comprehensive high-temperature response plan.
First, when a unit experiences high temperatures, eliminate any unacceptable high temperatures. Many users often fall into the misconception that the lower the compressor operating temperature, the better. In reality, the main unit exhaust temperature should be at least the pressure dew point. Excessively low temperatures can easily cause condensation, leading to lubricant emulsification and deterioration, effectively poisoning the equipment. Therefore, effective temperature control is crucial for ensuring long-term, stable operation of the equipment.
When the unit temperature rises abnormally
1.Ventilation and heat dissipation
Strictly control the upper limit of the ambient temperature for air compressor operation, and focus on optimizing the heat dissipation structure of the station building:
* Reasonably add exhaust fans to block hot air circulation
* Clean the debris around the air inlet of the air compressor to avoid affecting the cooling air circulation
* Isolate surrounding high-temperature heat sources to prevent excessive intake temperature, which may affect oil temperature, exhaust temperature, and the operation of downstream post-processing equipment.
2.Lubricating oil maintenance
Please perform a comprehensive inspection of your equipment before summer:
* Check the air compressor lubricating oil level regularly: if it is below the warning line? Stop the machine immediately and add oil! Running without oil = high temperature "suicide"
* Strictly control the lubricant replacement cycle: Expired oil will cause heat exchange performance to decline, and heat accumulation in the main engine will cause high temperature
3.Triple filter inspection
Check the air filter, oil filter, and oil separator to prevent the high risk of blockage in summer:
* Air filter: In summer, the temperature is high and dry, mosquitoes and dust increase. Prevent mosquitoes and dust from being inhaled, which may cause the air compressor to be overloaded and loaded for a long time, resulting in reduced operating efficiency and increased electricity bills.
* Oil filter: Oil filter clogging reduces the flow of lubricating oil, and the heat of the air compressor host cannot be fully removed, causing high temperature
* Oil separator blockage will cause the oil pressure difference to be too high, increase the burden on the unit, and cause the temperature rise of the unit to increase.
4.Cooler cleaning
Clean the cooler regularly to maintain efficient heat exchange performance and ensure the normal operation of the air compressor.
* Air-cooled models: Clean the cooler fins regularly to prevent flocs from blocking the "heat dissipation window"
* Water-cooled models: Be wary of scale and algae bioaccumulation, which can affect cooling efficiency.
5.Cooling system inspection
* Air-cooled models: Check whether the fan motor is running normally, check whether the fan blades are dirty or deformed, and check whether the air inlet filter is dirty. You can also judge whether the exhaust duct of the unit is unobstructed by observing the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the chassis.
* Water-cooled models: Maintain water inlet temperature ≤ 32°C and water pressure at 0.25-0.45Mpa. If the parameters do not meet the standards, increase the power of the circulating water pump or add a cooling water tower to ensure the normal operation of the cooling system and reduce the operating temperature of the air compressor.
6.Check the circulating oil system
Check whether there is any foreign matter in the oil circulation system to avoid failure of the temperature control valve, which may cause the lubricating oil to enter the machine head directly without passing through the cooler, causing high temperature.
7.Beware of false temperature alarms
* Check the temperature sensor regularly to avoid false alarms caused by temperature rise due to failure, which may lead to equipment shutdown.
* Check the line connection status to avoid poor contact, which may cause the system to misjudge temperature anomalies.
